Cattle feeding is based to a significant extent on silage. Microbial silage preparations improve the nutritional value of silage, increase its palatability, resulting in improved animal health and higher daily gain and milk yield. The rich composition of the preparation ensures that the fermentation processes in the ensiled material are directed, ensures a rapid decrease in the pH of the raw material, inhibits the growth of undesirable butyric acid bacteria, moulds and yeasts and increases the aerobic stability of the silage.
