Microbiological preparation for ensilage preparation
Rich composition

The use of the formulation improves the quality and nutritional value of silage, increasing its palatability, as well as improving animal health, daily gains and milk yield.

It consists of appropriately selected homo- and heterofermentative strains of lactic acid bacteria and a starter that enables their rapid multiplication in the ensiled material.

The rich composition of the preparation ensures that the fermentation processes in the ensiled material are directed, ensures a rapid decrease in the pH of the raw material, inhibits the growth of undesirable butyric acid bacteria, moulds and yeasts and increases the aerobic stability of the silage.

  • improved quality and nutritional value of silage
  • improved silage flavour
  • improved animal health
  • increased daily growth
  • increased milk yield
  • increased aerobic stability of silage
  • reduced silage loss after opening the silo

The formulation contains selected bacterial strains with a high concentration of no less than 1 x 1011 cfu/g (1 million cfu for each gram of ensiled raw material), which is the highest concentration among similar preparations available on the market.

An additional ingredient in the formulation is a starter – a medium that enables rapid multiplication of composite-forming microorganisms, regardless of the initial conditions resulting from the application site.

  • rich composition
  • rapid reduction in pH
  • inhibition of growth of unwanted butyric acid bacteria
  • inhibition of mould growth
  • aerobic stability of silage

How much preparation?

  • 1 kg / 100 tons – grasses, legumes, cereals, beet pulp
  • 1 kg / 150-200 tons – maize (whole plants, cobs, moist grain)

How much water?

  • 100 l / 100 tons of ensiling material

When preparing the material for ensiling, apply with an applicator or spray by hand the layers on the heap or silo.
The working solution has a shelf life of 48 hours, but the best results can be obtained within 24 hours.

Microbiological silage of fodder. How does it work?

One of the ways to ensilage fodder is to use our ENSILAGE preparation – a microbial silage additive. Its use improves the quality and nutritional value of the silage, increases its palatability and, as a result, improves the health of animals, increases daily gains and increases milk yield.
