Farmers Weekly on BIO-GEN products

One of the UK’s largest agricultural magazines, Farmers Weekly, published a series of articles profiling Polish farmers using BIO-GEN microbial solutions. The farms visited by the journalists are located in Pomerania.

Jacek Dzieciniak, who manages almost 5,400 ha of arable land, stresses that the biological solutions he uses instead of chemicals allow him to increase yields of winter wheat and oilseed rape while reducing the cost of nitrogen fertilisers. The need to comply with the requirements of the European Green Deal was also an important part of his decision to use biological solutions.

Farmers Weekly’s second interviewee is Julian Grygolec, who grows rape, winter wheat and sugar beet on 530ha. For six years a farmer has been using RewitalPRO+ which is responsible for introducing beneficial microorganisms into the soil environment, which have the effect of restoring the microbial balance. Revital PRO+ has the richest microbiological composition among preparations of similar use available on the market  In turn, by using AzotoPower, the farm has managed to reduce its nitrogen requirement by 60 kg / ha of oilseed rape while maintaining good yields. The bacteria in the product reduce atmospheric nitrogen to plant-available forms, supplying the plants with nitrogen – the most important yield-forming nutrient.

Farmers Weekly is the largest title among agricultural publications in the UK. The magazine is available both in print and on the app. According to the publisher, Farmers Weekly reaches 77% of people working in agriculture in the UK.
